Product Overview

Same Day Wiro binding involves gathering pages together, punching holes along one side and holding them together with a metal wire spine. When the pages are opened they either lie flat or can fold fully back around, making wiro binding ideal for annual reports, recipe books, manuals and other reference material.  It’s also suitable for between 4 and 180 leaves  - that’s up to 360 printed sides.

Choose wiro binding on the top or left-hand side, printed landscape or portrait orientation. Why not choose to laminate your cover? Most customers add extra strength and durability by adding protective clear acetate covers.

We only use black coloured wires on all products.

Q. What is Wiro Binding?
A. Wiro bound booklets are bound together like a notepad, where a wire is inserted and threaded through small punched holes within the margin of the booklet. Wiro bound, also known as spiral-bound due to the long wire coil, are a very popular and cost-effective binding method which allows you to let your booklet lie completely flat on a table making it ideal for cooking books, instruction manuals or presentations when you need your hands free.

A. Wiro bound booklets are ideal for recipe books, annual reports, travel atlas, wall calendars, planners, pocket booklets, manuals, music booklets, guides and other reference materials because of the booklets ability to lie completely flat on a surface and keep your hands free.

Q. What are the benefits of using wiro binding for document printing?
A. Wiro-bound document open 360 degrees (cover to cover) which allows them to fold flat and lie flat for easier reference. When opened, the pages of a wiro-bound document rotate around the wire with very little resistance. This binding style works extremely well with index tabs.

Q. What is the minimum number of pages that can be wiro bound?
A. The minimum number of pages that can be wiro bound together is four. This is because each sheet counts as two pages.
