Once you’ve chosen your wedding date, it’s time to define the aesthetic you want. Whether you’re aiming for modern, chic, or vintage, your wedding stationery design should reflect this. 6-9 Months Before: Save the Date Cards

If your wedding is a destination celebration or requires guests to travel, it’s important to send your Save the Date Cards as soon as possible. This gives guests enough time to arrange travel plans or book time off work. For a local wedding, six months ahead is a reasonable timeframe for sending Save the Date Cards. Timing is key, send them too late, and guests might have already made other plans – especially during peak wedding season.

Designs often go through multiple revisions, so allow plenty of time for the design process, printing, and delivery to ensure your invitations are ready to send.
